London, Ont. - All the Grade 9 student in London was doing was transferring to another school bus.

That's when other students set his backpack on fire.

It happened not once, but twice.

It's the type of story Corina Morrison of the London Anti- Bullying Coalition has been hearing since the coalition was formed. Of the 150 calls the coalition has received about bullying since January, 38 have been about incidents on school buses.

"Parents are confused about who to report the bullying to," Morrison said.

The coalition will hold a session tomorrow at Covent Garden Market to help parents learn how to report bullying incidents and ways of keeping their children safe on buses.

Parents are often given contradictory information about reporting school-bus bullying, Morrison said.

"One time they're told it's the school bus driver's responsibility; one time it's the principal's responsibility," she said.
